It has been awhile

I haven't made a post to my blog in quite some time. Life has been busy and filled with surprises. The biggest surprise was the dominance of the Democrats in the November elections. Congratulations to them but I doubt they would be as civil if it had been a continuance of Republican power. Yes, the Democrats won and it scares the hell our of me.

Nancy Pelosi's first act was to support the ethically challenged John Murthy for the number two slot in the house. This was shortly of claiming that the new congress would be the most honest in years. Ouch. Is she for real? And is Barny Frank up for a leadership role? You know, the guy whose queer boyfriend ran a brothel out of their apartment in New York.

I must admit too many Republicans walked away from their conservative roots. Some of the Republican losers were good honest conservatives that paid the price for their colleagues foilables. Well nothing like a couple of years of a Democrat congress to return Republicans to power.
